RE: BiG D Records Info update June -20-08
Hello hope all is well with everyone, Big D Staff here. It's Friday and this weekend is to be a hot one, so make sure you hit the beach, or have something to do that is cool! Lets talk about what happening in the Big D camp. First up: Lets talk R&B> Matthew James Project. We have a new music profile for Big D Records on Black planet .com, we have uploaded 7 new tracks from the Matthew James Album, so check out the profile, and listen to 7 of his 12 tracks from his forth coming album called( The Many Shades of Matthew James)

We should be expecting his album this week, and then it will go into mastering. When you are at the profile page make sure you leave some comments about the album and let us know what tracks you like from Him. So check this out!!!! Plus we will always have new music on the Big D Profile page as well. Lets talk dance music. The Brotha Funk project /ft Jerome is being mixed down as we speak.
We got word the Un-dah-dub/ Harlem Station, ( http://www.harlemstationrecordings.com should be giving us his remix very soon, and Royal Darkness Productions has given us there remix already. If you would like to hear the Royal darkness mix, go to the my space Big D Player, ( www.myspace.com/djjd281 there you can hear their mix called" :Cover me – It's Over Mix" JD productions has also put his mix in the fire as well, so this should be a hot EP for the summer. Stay tune we will have all this for you soon. JD productions is also working on his new EP for the fall titled " The Burn Out EP"he has been slammin the first cut off the EP called "Turn U Out" on their radio show> A Touch Of Soul" on www.ssradiouk.com . Everyone stay tuned for this EP in the fall of 2008. Lets talk CD's> We have good news and bad news about the Big D Mix CD compilation, the bad news is we have to have it master again because it did not sound right to us when we received the test copy. What is the good news, it will be master and ready for your last part of the summer so hold on, you will be able to jam the mix CD soon in your CD player or Ipod!!!
Lets talk about singers> Oh yes we forgot to tell you in the last blog, JD is looking for a soulful singer, who would love to sing dance tunes, and build from there. The singer should be out going and a great personality!!! No Hang Ups he said. So all you singers out there send your demo to the information address down at the end of this blog, good luck!!! I wish I could sing!!!!! Last, DJJD & Nica D. show will air this Tuesday on SS radio. Tuesday June-24th-08 - 8pm-10pm pacific time. So if you do miss the show, we always have a link for you at the bottom of the page.
